How do you get rid of a stash of green buttons? You make holiday cards with them. I like that you chose something you could easily recycle to make your cards with because it is responsible for the environment. I want to use up items in a different manner instead of tossing them out the door. Even small scraps can be revamped into something gorgeous with the right inspiration like your card.

I have made these in the past and they are always a big hit. Kids get a kick out of gluing the buttons on. You can even glue the buttons into other shapes, like snowmen or Christmas trees. This is also a really inexpensive craft. I mean, who doesn't have a button jar kicking around the house?

These are simple but so pretty, great idea! My nephew has started school, him and his friends/ classmates have started swapping cards and I remember his mammy saying it was expensive this year to do it, I think this Christmas I might make it a fun project for me and him to make these together to give to his little pals!
