"What better way to celebrate the build-up to the special day than with an advent calendar. I love to fill mine with a daily treat and a cheesy joke. I like to make my own advent calendars. This one is very simple and quick to make. The envelopes are made using a template which you can download. You can use Christmas craft paper or upcycle leftover gift wrap to make your colourful envelopes. They are then simply hung from on string using a painted wooden coat hanger."
