If you'd like to add a divine look to your holiday decorations, then these Heavenly Upcycled Egg Carton Christmas Angels need to be on your radar. This beginner Christmas craft is a frugal and kid-friendly project that everyone is sure to love.

From the blogger: "These celestial beauties are an example how fun and creative upcycling can be. It is a cute family project where everybody can pitch in, but is also easy enough that kids can make one on their own. All that is needed to make an angel is an egg carton, paint, yarn, and a few embellishments to complete it. A hot glue gun was used to glue the angel parts together because it dries quicker (this is where the adults should help out). But kids can use a strong tacky glue if making one on their own.

"The price is based on the fact that you already have a few basic craft supplies at home like paint, glue and yarn. If you have to buy these extra for the project, it could cost a little more."

Who knew you could turn an egg carton into a pretty angel? How in the world did you ever think egg carton and angel? I never come up with anything so clever. I love how you are keeping some things out of the landfill a little longer, or the recycling bin.

Thanks! I know what you mean... Angel and egg cardon? Somehow the ideas just pop in my head. lol... I also like using items that would normally be thrown away and making something new with them.

This goes on my list for next Christmas! I love that it doesn't take any special preparation or materials to make and the angels are so cute that I think I'll figure a way to hang them on the Christmas tree. I plan on using some large wooden beads I already have for the head.
