By using a die cutting machine, you will get unbelievable details that cannot be made easily by hand. Like real snowflakes, this DIY Christmas ornament has a unique look that is truly head-turning. Add even more glitz by attaching gems to this gorgeous decoration. Then, hang it in a place it will be able to spin.

Materials List

  • Tattered Lace Crossover Fabric and Paper Cutting System
  • OlyFun material, pink and teal
  • Tattered Lace Die – Anne
  • Adhesive
  • Thread
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive-backed gems (optional)

Instructions:

Using the Tattered Lace Crossover Fabric and Paper Cutting System, cut a snowflake from the pink and teal Olyfun material using the Anne Tattered Lace die.

  1. Place the blue snowflake down and apply adhesive to the top.

  2. Lay a piece of thread along the center.

  3. Place the pink snowflake on top, forming a sandwich. Allow to dry.

  4. Adhere gems to the center of the snowflake front and back.

  5. Tie the thread at the top into a loop and cut it off at the bottom.

I love the irredescent look of it. That one would look so pretty on a white tree. With tiny blue and white lights. I just may have to break my vow not to make any more things for the tree. What's one more thing, right? Thanks for sharing, I think!
