This idea is so fun and festive. You can make it shabby-chic like this design, or you can jazz it up and make it ultra modern with some shiny paint and a thick covering to make sure the bare spots don't show through. The possibilities are really endless with this idea. Great job!

Yeah. This "Peace" message by the door is a good idea. It projects a Christmas spirit to passers by. They may not see and appreciate the decor inside the house but placing this message is a good idea.
