Celebrate Christmas in July by making some Twiggy Christmas Trees. It's easier to forage for twigs during the summer than it is in the winter, so now is the perfect time to work on this fun project. Keep this twig decoration plain for a rustic look or add some paint and to create a festive little tree. Summer is a great time to start on all of your holiday projects. You can take much of your stress away by getting a big jump on all of your holiday tasks.

OOPSTYPO NOTICED. Meant to say Grand Child(r)en. Forgot the (r)

I make an "EDIBLE VERSION" of these using mini pretzel sticks dipped in melted chocolate bark (which also works as the glue to hold them together) & sprinkles. White works best & the melted chocolate bark can have green food coloring added to it. Once chocolate bark sets, I dip a 1 1/2 " loop of red shoe lace licorice (ends only) and set it to the backs of the tree to hold in place as a hanger. We also make edible snowflakes the same way by using the mini pretzel sticks in a (*) pattern and dye the white melted chocolate bark blue & add snowflake sprinkles to them. Allow ornaments to set up/dry on wax paper. My Grand Childen LOVE edible ornaments!!
