When I was a teen I crocheted a wave pattern afghan (it was a kit and was a Christmas gift from my parents). I still have the finished afghan today (many years later). I love that afghan and it was my very first crochet project. My only regret was that I lost the written instructions many years ago. After reading the instructions for this lovely throw, it is just what I have been looking for. The pattern is simple, very easy to follow and the results look great. Now I can get started making a new one. Thank you for sharing!

I love this Christmas Wave Throw and it is so easy to follow the directions. I have made it in a smaller size to decorate the bottom of my granddaughter's small fake Christmas tree in her room. It looks better than the white fake snow felt that we used to use.

ripple is a ripple as the saying goes, sorta like a rose, always sweet and special! The colors you choose can make or break ANY ripple, they are a fast, easy, pattern, and always a favorite in my book!

Maybe it isn't the same old pattern but it gives a new slant as to color. After all, it is free.

Sure - red, green and white for Christmas is SOOO unique!

I disagree with annick. This pattern has a variety in the number of rows for each color as well as having a Christmas theme. I have a lot of "Christmas" yarn that I bought after one Christmas several years ago. I made stockings and ornaments with some of it but still had a lot of yarn left. I know just how I will use these skeins of yarn. So I just want to say thanks!

Same old pattern, just a change in colors. Big deal!
