My sister-in-law made these blankets last year for Christmas gifts, and then she carried it into Super Bowl season and sold favorite team blankets for something like $25. I was impressed, but thought they were much harder to make than this. You can buy fabric that is being discontinued to save a few bucks and make a ton off of these if you would like to sell them, but I love the thought of giving someone something that will make them think of you while they wrap up snuggly warm.

This is a great gift idea and so simple but means a lot to the person receiving it. Made one for my husband and he loved it and used it in the camper. So these blankets are not just for kids.If you do not own a sewing machine or just want to not bring it out then this tutorial for this blanket is for you. Man,Women or child this is a perfect gift and a great way to teach your kids to make something themselves. Who has made more than one?

I've always wanted to try a tie blanket, but I've never done it. I can't sew, so this seems like a good project for me. Would be nice for a rainy day craft!

OH MY GOSH, I made that EXACT blanket for my boyfriend for our second Valentine's Day together! Literally the exact same Batman blanket! I can attest to this: he loved it. And it was SUCH a quick gift. Fun to make with a friend, too!
