This is an economical project that can just be a gesture of cheer during the holiday season. The project can be a little time consuming because the whole plastic canvas is filled with yarn but this can be done while watching TV. I plan to make these to hand out to my Book Club when we meet in December, just as a token of appreciation.

I like this plastic canvas partridge in a pear tree ornament. I think it is just adorable. I like the idea of what to place inside and I want to take it one step further. Because it is a Partridge in a Pear tree - make these for an advent "tree". I know kids will love this. The birds could be in different colors with numbers sewn on.
