I haven't made this yet because every time I mouse on getting the pattern it goes right back to the picture of it. I would like the instructions please. Even though it's simple to make I would like the how's and how much's for it.

Hello! Thank you so much for pointing that out! The link has been fixed, so you should be good to go. Merry crafting! - Chelsea, Editor

I like this pretty pinecone ornament. A great way to make use of all those cinnamon scented pinecones when they no longer smell much at all. As an ornament, the pinecones look great with their gold tipped edges. No real instructions are needed to duplicate this project. Painted white instead of gold they would look just as nice.

So many times the simplest things attract me! I have oodles of pine cones and each year we invariably pick up more as we walk. This type of ornament creation I think would be therapeutic for me. The variety you could do with these is great...golden gild the edges, glitter, or those micro white no hole beads for snow seem like great options! I think you could also combine say 5 of them attached to a ribbon with bow at the top for a vertical swag!

This is a very easy and practical ornament! I agree that Kids would love making these, and I think you could glam them up,with little gems or rhinestones, or make them cute, with little snowballs or even tiny ribbon garland. I personally haven't made a character like Sissie mantises, but I bet you could easily enough!

I meant like Sissie mentions, NOT mantises .... That is the oddest auto spell I have ever seen! Sheeesh!!! )

Such a pretty way to use pinecones. I love the glitter on the ornament. Have you ever tried to make a Christmas character like Santa or a reindeer from pine cones? I think that would make a unique gift item for little ones in the family. I could see using it as their first ornament or to make a set of children's ornaments for the kids to add to the tree every year.
