What says that it is the holiday season more than a cute village decorated with snow and lights? I love these little houses. I can make a ton of these and add my lights and put them on a table by themselves to create a unique table scene that I have always wanted to make and show off. I love it!

Now this idea is just what I needed! I have this one wooden birdhouse that I have been staring at since ages. It was on sale and I bought it, knowing one day I would do something with it, but never got around to it. I love what you did to yours and the colors of red and white also fit perfectly to my Christmas decorations. That may be just what I wil do with mine, too. Thank you for sharing this idea.
