I have a few of these light bulb ornaments and they are so charming hanging on the tree. Besides a snowman, a penguin, a Santa or an angel could be the theme for these cute decorations. Very easy to duplicate this project with small amounts of paint, glitter, a steady hand and bits of fabric. Fun project for sure.

How cool to be able to use a light bulb to make a fun ornament for our tree. My kids will really love completing this project. Use materials around the house to make this project.

Loving this craft! It's easy but looks cute. My daughter loves olaf so much that sometimes she even draws him everywhere around the house. The light bulb is fragile, so maybe children should be more careful.

I have been searching for an angel pattern that I made several years ago with chamois that I could shape ... I used purchased wings and heads and they were so beautiful. Does anyone have a pattern that would be similar to that? Or any chamois angel pattern.... ???

I love the snowmen, BUT unless you put a layer of paper on first this could be dangerous if the lightbulbs are dropped. The glass is Very sharp and not a suitable plaything for children. However with a layer or two of paper, even tissue paper, they would be safe as the paper will dry hard.

What a great way to recycle old used lightbulbs! You can never have too many ornaments for Christmas. They would even look good hanging in a window. I would use pieces of felt or flat buttons for the buttons instead of paint. Also felt for the face. It would be a good project to do with grade school children with supervisor. They would all kinds of ideas how to decorate these snowmen.

Oh I like this one. You don't have to take the light bulb apart to make it. That always bothers me. The grand kids love to help paint so they can do the faces and buttons and things to bring these to life. And the glitter is one of their favorite things to add so this is going to be perfect .
