What a fun way to use up some of the leftover fabric you have in your craft supplies, right? I can see making a few of these and creating a tree forest for my village houses. I want to make an entire table full because I want a large village this year. Plus, I get to recycle some of my favorite fabrics.

Finally! A project to use up all of those small scraps in my craft room. These are really darling little trees. I think that they would look fabulous in a small grouping on the mantle. My niece is just starting to show an interest in learning how to sew and I think that this would be a lovely project for her. She could give them out as gifts for Christmas.

Oh this is so cool!!! It's like watching my idea come to life. I've been making these yoyos with a group of ladies for lapel pins and then I came on this website and found them made into a folk angel. I then saw these yoyos in my head being made into a Christmas tree. Tonight I come on the website again and voila! Here it is. What an affirmation for my idea and it's so darling! The smallish round thread spool for a trunk is a nice touch to my imaginings.
