Oh, how cute is this little snowman? I know several friends with babies that I could ask to save me the food jars so that I can make a ton of these little snowmen to give out in stockings or as a basket decoration item. I have a few people that would adore this craft as much as I do.

These are cute and fun to make. I want to add to the directions that it is important to wash the jar, and the cap in particular, very well. This will prevent a chance for mildew in the snow globe water, if there are any food remnants in the cracks of the cover. Another important thing I would do is add an adhesive that will hold up to moisture and attach the cap to the jar permanently. This can save on possible leaks if the cover were to become loosened. These are adorable and you will want to be able to display them for a long time. If the cover isn't on tight enough the water can disappear too. I haven't made this specific project but have had snow globes like it in my home.
