I went from the standard mason jars to the wide mouth and I have a lot of rings that I have no need and this is a great opportunity to use them. I love to recycle and this idea helps me use up those rings and have a new decoration for my Christmas tree.

I love these. I have a lot of rings that are really ready to be retired because of a little rust. This will be perfect to use them instead. I cannot wait to get started so that I will have a lot of them made for my new Christmas tree this year.

Now, those I will do, even though more ornament projects is the last thing I need right now! I have several rusty old jar rings that would work fine for this, and I have a lot of odds and ends of twine and even some small ribbon. I bet yarn would work, too!

I have many mason jar lids that I can use, and oh so many scraps of beautiful ribbon, yarn, felt, and fabric to wrap around the wreaths. I have buttons and beads that I can use to adorn them. I will make several of these ornaments and attach some to presents as gift tags.
