first I collect various sizes of pine cones. Then I bake them. This kills bugs and melts the sap on the cones. They come out glossy and deep colored. I use a grapevine wreath and attach my pine cones with a product called liquid nail. You apply with a caulking gun. When the liquid nail dries the cones will NEVER come loose. I fill in large holes with smaller pine cones. Once they dry I take my glue gun and begin to apply snips of garland, colored bells, balls and bows. I have even used tiny ornaments throughout . Large pieces of potporree (SP) finish filling in gaps. I spray it with sealer. Select a fabulous ribbon and tie to the front. Hang and enjoy. These are great for gifts too. If you are gonna make a pine cone wreath go for extravagant. You won't be sorry

I make pinecone wreaths, but my look a lot better than this one, I use all sizes and I do not paint the pinecones, I like the natural color much better..

I personally think that the shimmery Pine cone wreath should be fuller. To me it looks incomplete.
