I love this wreath. Having trouble with stockings heel. Could someone make it clearer how to keep turning and crocheting in long row below and come out with six stitches and something that looks like a heel?

I apologize that you are having trouble. I would suggest heading to the brand's page and commenting or asking through the blog or email. http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/merry-christmas-wreath.html. Good luck. Thanks - Krista, Editor, AllFreeChristmasCrafts

The stocking worked up quickly for me. When working the bend of the heel, work the required number of sc, then sc in the next free stitch in the long row below. Turn your work and repeat this process over the next 3 rows until you have picked up all 6 of the stitches (one each row) that you initially made for the heel. This will automatically cause the bend to shape. Do not work in the row ends. You will sew those closed later. I took a couple of pictures showing where the stitches are made for the bend in the heel. I hope they help. Good luck.

This Crocheted Christmas Wreath is so cute! After reading the pattern it looks easy enough to do and I could make a few of these and give as gifts. I was thinking of making smaller wreaths but I'm wondering what is the finished size of the Santa, stockings and gift box? Would they look good on say a 6 inch wreath? I'll be making these and hope they are not all that big. I love the Christmas colors in this wreath, it would brighten up any home. Thank you so much for this free easy crochet pattern.
