As an avid reader I think this is an adorable ornament. I can't stand the thought of cutting up a book though. I can see it is a good avenue for recycling an older paperback that has been read and is no longer viable as a form of reading entertaining. I also think this would be cute cut out in angel or ball form. What shape would you make?

What memories this brings back! My mom used to have balls and bells made just like that, except they were some kind of colored paper. She used to hang them from the ceiling at Christmas time. I never understood how they were made, but this looks easy. I will make some to remember her.

So adorable. I can see making a ton of these to use all over the house this year. I love making a lot of stuff with book pages. I use them for wreaths and for ornaments of other styles. They are such an easy item to use for crafts. You can do so many great things like this with them.

Oh my, what a novel and beautiful idea. I belong to a book club. Guess what I will be making and giving as presents this year? And my daughter in law loves unusual ornaments and she is a music teacher. I can make a trip to the local thrift stores and find a book of music and a lot more to make these.
