Christmas Village Lanterns
These Christmas Village Lanterns are two wonderful homemade Christmas decorations in one. Inspired by those beautiful, miniature Christmas towns people have on their mantels or shelves, these tissue paper lanterns not only create a little Christmas town scene, but act as fantastic luminaries, too. Become the artist and design your very own village. All you'll need is a marker, some tissue paper, and a couple of old mason jars. This project will help you to magically light up your home and make it inspirational for the holiday season.

I love how simple and easy this craft is to make. Did you do all the designs freehand? I know I have a few stencils for village houses that I would like to incorporate into this design. I love using sharpies to make up an outline, so this craft is perfect for the little village I want to make this year.

This looks pretty cool. Nice as decor for themed parties,o r maybe during Halloween. To make it a little bit more lively, make it colorful, add up some glitters or change the background into bright colors.

These will go nicely setting among my tiny village. . Not only will they add to the theme but they will bathe it in a warm glow. Maybe with different color candles inside. Different size jars will make different size buildings too. Thank you for sharing this great idea.
