I like this idea. I think it is best for grandparents to share with little ones or mom and dad and little children. I would do the colored sugar so that you could let the kids try it and you might even add raisins or peanuts if there are no allergies. That way the kids could make it even more of a memory spreading it around and snacking on it at the same time. Or you could crumble some of Santa's cookies and sprinkle with the sugar. Either way would be fun.
