Repurposed Christmas Pillow
Create a DIY Christmas pillow and decorate your home this holiday season! Save an old sweater that you no longer wear and use it to create a Repurposed Christmas Pillow. If you love to sew, then you'll have a ball making this cool Christmas craft.
Materials:
- Recycled red sweater
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Batting
- Sewing pins
Instructions:
- Lay front of the sweater facing you on a flat surface.
- Cut a straight line across the sweater starting at bottom of sleeves.
- Turn sweater inside out and pin edges together.
- Sew a straight stitch to join ends of sweater, leaving a 1" seam.
- Sew opposite end of the same way.
- Unzip sweater and turn right side out.
- Use batting to stuff sweater to the desired firmness.
- Zip up pillow and enjoy!

Who would think to use a sweater to create a Christmas pillow? I never had any clue to do this, but it seems so perfect. I love that you have the texture from the sweater to make this pillow so soft and comfy. I think I have several sweaters that I would like to use for this project.
