I remember making this pattern of weaving in a basket when I was in a camp as a kid. Is this where you got the idea to make a ribbon weave pillow? I love all the colors. They go so well together. This would look so pretty in a nice chair with a fleece blanket draped over the side in one of the colors.

Also nice with monochromatic colors. This will look best in a solid color couch or bed. Is this really easy to make? I hope it is because I haven't tried any project like this.

I have made several of them. I do solid ribbon and all of them except one with grosin(sp) ribbon. I have two and have done 3 for gifts to match peoples colors. I have used cotton for the back, and when I couldn't find any to match the last one I used felt as it was the only thing I could find to match the color needed. If you are a beginner sewer this is so easy. Lay the weave out and pin as you go, sew a square. Then put the front to the back and sew it leaving an opening for the pillow. Finish off.

I don't know why I didn't give it 5 star it s/b maybe I made the mistake.

Not to be picky but shouldn't this be called "WOVEN ribbon pillow"?
