I used to sew my first ten loops together Weberme, when I made these bows and then went from there. It was easier to form the outside and fluff it up when I had something substantial and a little more sturdy to hold in the middle. You can use a twist tie as a temporary tie instead of sewing it until you figure out where you want to run the thread. I just sewed straight through the middle though, hope this helps!

I have tried and tried to make these bows but they never turned out right at all. I twisted and fluffed and threw away. Holding them in place and keeping them together was always a problem. Using the embroidery hoop is a great idea and makes it so much easier to hold. I am going to give this a try because I love these bows and they are so expensive to buy. Anyone have anything to add to making this easier?
