Simple Crochet Christmas Trees

"This is a simple pattern - based on a traditional granny triangle - only using half double crochet stitches instead of double crochet stitches. You can whip these up very quickly with medium weight stash yarn (I’ve included a few examples above) and then hand them over to your little ones (children or grandchildren) to decorate with glue and fun things like pompoms, glitter and buttons! Creating something for the holidays is a fantastic way to create a long-lasting memory. Every year they take their decoration out of ‘storage’ to add to their holiday decor (or tree!) they will remember decorating it with you. My goal with this extremely simple pattern is to provide a way for you to bond and create long lasting memories with your loved ones. My most precious memories of family are from Christmas - and taking my precious and child-like decorations out each year brings to mind so many beautiful cherished memories - they are the very best Christmas Gifts because they stay with us forever. Wishing each of you the most memorable and happiest Christmas Ever."

You could hang these little Christmas trees anywhere couldn't you? I bet you could add some essential oils and put them in the car for the holidays. A little pine scent would be amazing. Some trees with lavender in the bedroom or bathroom would be soothing. Lemon ones in the kitchen would invigorate you and help you get things done. So many ideas.
