Crochet Christmas Tree Skirt

Show off your crochet skills in a new way when you make this Crochet Christmas Tree Skirt! The intermediate crochet pattern uses granny squares in a fun and festive way, and will definitely be a stunning decoration that your family will treasure for years to come.

From the blogger: "Add some handmade charm to your Christmas decor with this beautiful skirt for your Christmas tree. The finished tree skirt measures approximately 46 inches from each point to the opposite point and has an opening to easily slip around the base of your tree. The pattern calls for red and white worsted weight cotton yarn (approximately 710 yds each), an H hook, scissors, and a tapestry needle. The pattern includes step-by-step pattern instructions, stitch diagrams, and schematics."

If this isn't the prettiest tree skirt I have ever seen. I love the pattern. I can't believe you crocheted this skirt. It says it took longer than a weekend to make. About how many hours do you think you put into this skirt? I am not sure I have enough skill to make this one or not.

I seem to have misplaced my tree skirt this year and the pattern I originally planned to use is also lost. I am glad I found this one. I really like it. It looks like it will be quick and easy to make, which is what I need right now. I am no where near ready for Christmas and it is coming fast.

I was selling at a craft fair last week and someone was looking specifically for a crocheted tree skirt, which I did not have. Most of the patterns I've looked up for crocheted tree skirts have been pretty ugly to be honest, but this one is beautiful! I might try making one and seeing if it sells at the next fair I go to.
