"Here is a roundup of handmade paper gift boxes. These boxes are very easy to make and can be customized to your tastes. Most have a printable template, or easy to follow instructions. The boxes include a self-closing origami box, pillow box, clover fold box, hexagon box, and simple origami box. All that's needed is some pretty scrapbook paper, and some glue. I never thought about using scrapbook paper to embellish a small cardboard box. I have to agree with Polly Esther. It is hard to find little boxes. You can buy a bunch on the web for next to nothing, but who needs a whole batch when you only want to give one or two small gifts, right? I like your idea to use for the times when you need a smaller box.
