I love working with felt because it is so forgiving and easy to work with. The birdie ornament tutorial is good and easy to follow with photos that make all things clear. This is just the type of thing that is so fun to begin working on in fall. I would use these to tie on to my gift packages to add a little something to them for fun. Great project!

I made a couple of these this past Christmas. They are lovely, easy, and easy to make them your own.

Very good, but am dissappointed that I can't print the correct size of pattern. May be that I don't know the correct proceedure to do it. I get one about half size when I print it. Love the birdies and so will my little granddaughter. She is 3 (this month) and this year we have done a lot of Christmas crafts in the art foam, which some of your patterns are easily adapted to. Of course she needs a lot of help but is so happy and proud of herself when she has completed a project. We made 9 "rootdeer" this year as an outdoor decoration. Rudolph & the other 8 with a wire sleigh and a stuffed santa. Used brown plastic rootbeer bottles filled with sand for stability of the bottles. She loved the project which was her choice to make. Thank you for a great site for the little ones!!!

love it! simple & elegant
