This is gorgeous and I would love to make at least one, BUT where can I but it from? I live in the UK and have drawn a blank here, but also on the US craft/dollar shops. Idea most welcome-)

I love Crafty Suz's idea for a baby's first Christmas. I bet you could do one of these for a Christmas wedding as well with the white poinsettias. I love burgundy too ashleroo, so I can see myself making a ton of these to give away and to decorate my house. I think these angels would go perfect in a guest bedroom or bathroom as well. You could welcome your holiday guests with these pretty angels or make and angel-themed room during the holidays.

This little poinsettia angel is Christmas perfection. I have so many silk flowers kicking around my Christmas decoration bin and now I know just what to do with them! I think that it would be fun to do a whole collection with different coloured flowers, like burgundy or red, and group them on the mantel. You could also use them as place card holders for a holiday dinner party. So elegant.

This is a simple and different type of an angel ornament. It would be pretty done with a white poinsettia two. A pink or pale blue one would be sweet for a baby's first Christmas. These would be pretty one a wreath with one angel representing each member of the family. For a lower cost, look for the silk-like flowers at a dollar store. For the person asking what else could be made from the blossoms I think Santa and Mrs. Santa or an elf could be made in a similar fashion with the wings being made into arms instead.

It's amazing how poinsettia can turn into an angel ornament. What else can I make out of poinsettia?

What a creative way to use silk flowers. I love the look of this angel.

I haven't made the angel yet, but wanted to say I could agree more with every word about The littlest Angel. I watched many times as a child, and loved it, although this was at least my partial view of heaven until I learned otherwise in high school from a friend. I'll have to get the book or video, or both, since I can't even remember last time I saw the movie-great reminder to think of the real Reason for the Season, God's Love and Sacrifice for us, Jesus. Thanks again for sharing the book, your thoughts, and the angel. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Season, and a Happy New Year, 2014, NCrafts

Thanks for that message - I'll bet many have read it over the years!!!

Realy liked this idea. Was looking for a new angel ornament to make & to use as gifts and for my tree (an annual event for me) and cannot wait to begin this for 2011! Thank you!!
