I love that you use the paint to create angelic hair for the craft. Do you think this craft would look good with a thin, green ribbon for the small bow in the front instead of the gold? I like that you could add both Christmas colors to the same craft. I guess you could always make a few different versions with a variety of colors too. Thanks for the ideas!

I just gave away three or four spools of gold edged burlap-looking ribbon that would have been great for this. I should have known better. I have a small table top tree for the office and one of these would be just right for a tree topper for it. Now if I had my ribbon back...

Very creative! The ribbons look like gowns and dresses of the angels. I like the ribbon designs. It's also easy to buy the materials. You can find most of them in a bookstore.

I think this is just beautiful, and very easy to do. I can make a bunch of them to put on the tree and what I really want to make is a mobile for my grand son. These will make up beautifully. And how pretty it will be over his crib and the Angels are a guardian over him.

Oh my! These will be on my tree for sure this year. They are beautiful. This is a great way to use up those pieces of wired ribbon left over. I must show my friend who loves angels this and make a day to make these ribbon angel ornaments for our Christmas trees this year. I can see these done so many different ways to make each on individual by adding glitter or jewels. I bet you can even use a stretch peach fabric for faces too. Thanks for tutorial.

You're right weberme! These are beautiful! I have a scrap bag of wired ribbon that just found their purpose. In fact I believe I may have all the materials for these on hand. The ways these angels can be embellished is limited only by our imaginations. A very well written tutorial too!
