White and Red Felt Poinsettias
"Words can't describe these felt poinsettias that I made. I got the printable from a site I belong to and cut the petals from the paper. Then I traced them on cardboard to make templates."
Time to CompleteIn an evening
- Red and white felt squares (1 square to each Poinsettia)
- Tulip puffy paint (white, silver)
- Seed beads
- Craft glue
- Silver glitter
I got the printable for the petals online then printed them out and cut out the petals. Then I traced them on cardboard to make templates.
The leaves on top are curled at the center of the flower and glued to the next petal, etc.
I threaded about 5 small seed beads (red for the white, white for the red) together and glued them in the center of each Poinsetta.
On the red poinsettia I lined with silver glitter glue on the border on the leaves and the bigger red flower I used white puffy white in a dash pattern on the outer petals. On the white poinsettia I used red tulip puffy paint at the border using a dash pattern at the border and used red glitter glue in the curls of the petals.
