Hanging Fabric Christmas Tree
From the Blogger: "For those who don’t have room for a real or fake tree but want a bit of traditional Christmas decor (think college dorm rooms, for example), here is a Christmas tree that you can make out of fabric. Hang on a wall or in a window - or even from the ceiling and let it turn like a mobile — and after the season has passed, it can be stored flat or put away in the back of a closet. This is one project that won’t take up space!"

This Fabric Hanging Christmas Tree is such a great idea! It would be perfect in several settings not mentioned such as care facilities, apartments and classrooms as well as a college residence hall room. If you have the skill to quilt I think it would be adorable quilted. I may have the ribbon and a suitable fabric shouldn't be hard to find. Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you so much for your kind words. And I have to add just go for it in terms of the quilting. (It can be much easier than you think!)

I love that you said you could use this in a college dorm. My daughter is a freshman this year, and I am looking for neat ideas to help her decorate her side of the room. This will work great, won't it? I know she will be happy to decorate her own space for a change instead of helping me use our favorite decorations.

I think it will work wonderfully for your daughter. And if she's crafty also, I'm sure she can come up with all sorts of creative embellishments to make the tree her very own.
