What a neat idea for the grand kids. And like another poster said, they will go on the tree. I will also take two of them and lay them in an X pattern, tie a pretty bow around the center and put them on packages. That way they will have a little something extra besides the gift. Thanks for sharing a great Lille hands project.

I made these last year with my grand kids to hang on the tree and they had a blast. We usually put real ones on but they get eaten up too fast. I did not put them on a garland I just put them on the tree on different branches.I am going to get them to make more and use different colors like the star burst candy canes and attach to garland around house. These can be reused every year and hopefully when they get older I can pass them on to them. These are so very fast and easy. Anyone else make any?

How fun! Garlands seem to be everywhere these days and this would be a great project for kids.

Looks fun. Good project to do with the kids?
