Little Clothespin Soldier Ornaments

By: Deborah Whipp from altogetherchristmas.com

Make an adorable Christmas ornament craft this season when you create these Little Clothespin Soldier Ornaments. These ornaments are a fabulous way to put clothespins to use. Clothespins, paint, and pom-poms are some of the basic materials you'll need. The supplies are inexpensive, so the craft as a whole is very budget-friendly. The craft is also easy enough for kids to make. Craft with kids this season, and they will love hanging their handmade ornaments on the tree.

I have always love the story of the Nutcracker. My friend has a collection of them. If I can make up a set of these I could give her some as a gift. Every year we exchange hand made items so she would really like these. Mine will go on my tree for sure. I am not much of a painter but I think I can do this. I may even try markers as I have a ton of them. Thanks for sharing this neat idea.

These are quite cute and seem simple enough to make. Finding where I put my clothespins might be tricky . . . I may try using wooden match sticks for arms instead of the pipe cleaner.
