"Make these easy candy cane snow men. This cute snow man craft is fun for kids to help make. You can pass them out to kids classes, hand out to friends or serve them at holiday parties! You can also dress the snow men up with ribbon scarves or pom pom earmuffs to give them even more of a winter feel. Some of them have faces but you can make them without faces as well to save time. All you need are candy canes, ribbon, paper, and small pom pom balls."

This would be a really cute way to top off a Christmas stocking or use on the breakfast table at Christmas. You could even use them as napkin "rings" by using the same ribbon you used on the snowmen to tie around napkins. I would put some black dots down the front for buttons and maybe some twigs for arms. It looks like fun!

Oh my! What a neat way to dress up candy canes and give them away or decorate your tree. Do you have ideas for other designs like angels or santa hats? I think these would look great as a garland too. Do you think they would be too heavy with several candy canes to put on a garland?

I don't think angels or Santa hats would be difficult to figure out. For the hats use a red pom pom, a strip of white paper and a mini white pom pom for the top. The angel pom pom face and body cover the body with lace or fabric for a gown, add a wire halo. The garland https//www.allfreechristmascrafts.com/Christmas-Ga == rlands/Super-Easy-Candy-Cane-Garland

It seems like they might be too heavy to use for a garland, but if you were putting it on a tree, I don't think it would be a problem because the branches would stabilize it. If you wanted to use it on a doorway or window, maybe you could devise a way to fasten every second or third one?
