Wow, I used to make these over 45 years ago! They were a big deal back in the 60's. We cut the baggies into strips then and tied the sections to coat hangers. These could be easily made on the single ring wreath forms now. I get large plastic bags when packages are delivered to our home. I never thought to recycle them into one of these classic wreaths! These are great projects for kids. I sold them when I was a young girl.

I made several of these as gifts last year and used dollar store wire ribbon I bought the year before on sale after the holidays to make very inexpensive gifts for family members. I think I had less than six dollars in each one with the discounted items I got at half-price.

At last a use for the junk mail poly bags!In stead of tying them in a knot and throwing them in recycle, I can knot them onto the wire through the year and end up with something pretty!--then into recycle in the New Year. A double whammy!
