From the blogger: "The long, cold, dark and dreary days of winter are still coming. This project will not only keep you busy for a little while, but when finished, these stained glass paper snowflakes will add instant color to the window. Then it won't matter whether the sun shines or not because the light showing through the colors looks lovely either way. There are two templates that can be printed out and an illustrated step-by-step tutorial shows how they were made."

My children made a similar craft in school years ago. They were mock-ups of simple windows. The black paper really made the colors pop vibrantly. The teacher or crafter used tissue paper for the inserts that the children made. These ornaments would be gorgeous in various sizes. Would you use a variety of colors or just three or four on an ornament?

OH, wow! I am so impressed. These little snowflakes really look like stained glass. I want to make a ton of these to hang around my house this year. My hubby will even have fun with this craft. It is so fun and the colors are so bold with the black outline.
