I love that you took cardboard and embellished it with the craft ribbon. The texture makes the star much more three-dimensional and makes it appear to pop off from the tree. Do you use these on the tree only, or do you make banners or hang them in your windows. I think some glitter ones would look beautiful hanging in a random pattern over the fireplace or in a window.

These are simple and cute. I think they would be nice not only for Christmas but in Primitive decorating of for the Fourth of July. This could be a nice craft to do with children too. If you don't want to use the ribbon I think yarn would be a nice touch and skip the paint. Decorate both sides and use fishing line to hang them. (I mst comment about the titles to lead us from out email message to these articles. Using the word Amish in the title is creating a false link and is very irritating. I knew this one wasn't a true original title as the Amish do not have trees for Christmas. I wish someone would stop these misleading titles. It's an insult to we who take these sources of crafts and recipes seriously.)

This is a terrific easy project to work on with my kids. Good to pass some time during an afternoon, while helping me get ready for Christmas. I think I may have these materials around my house too. Good for the bottom line.
