Recycled Mitten Snow People Craft
If you have children, then you know how often they come home with only one mitten. Instead of tossing those lone mittens, make this Recycled Mitten Snow People Craft. It's a great scrap-busting Christmas craft because, besides the mittens, you probably have other fabric scraps and buttons. You will also need wood balls for the faces and a little paint. You can add even more embellishments to these thrifty crafts if desired, too. Make one cuddly snow person or a whole family to display as a DIY centerpiece on your table.

We all have old mittens and gloves laying around, right? I know my winter box of scarves always has extra gloves and mittens. This craft is perfect for the ones that lose a mate or get a hole. You can reuse them and give them new purpose. Plus, I can use up some of my scrap fabric and embellishments.

I really do love these recycled mitten snow people, they really are so cute. I think they would be lovely winter ornament as well as a Christmas ornament. I know myself I have loads of one mittens lying around with the other mitten lost or eaten by our washing machine so it will be a nice way to use them.
