The version without the stitches would be a good winter project for the grandkids when it's just too cold to go out and make a real snowman, or there isn't any snow. I am thinking of doing all the pieces on white card stock then they could color each piece and glue it into position.

This is cute! I'm considering making one for my mom's front door. She is a big fan of stitched projects!
