Cork is such a versatile item to use in crafts. It makes a great coaster doesn't it? You don't have to worry about liquid getting to your tables because the cork will soak it up and let it evaporate slowly. I think this is such a darling idea for gift giving or to keep for when guests stop by.

I dont know why but anytime we have wine with a cork in it I feel I must keep the cork and I really cant say why but it feels wrong putting it into the bin. This would be a great way to use them up as well as it being functional!
