Heirloom StockingIf you love to knit, then this collection of 25 Knitting Patterns for Christmas will give you some knit crafts to make year-round in preparation for Christmas. Some of these knitting patterns are fast, easy, and perfect for beginners, whereas others are more advanced and tedious. However, either way, the end results are amazing and well worth the effort. Each category of projects is specific to a certain type of knit Christmas craft, so if you are looking for something in particular, you can jump to the most fitting category.

We have various knitted DIY ornaments that you can knit for your own Christmas tree or give as gifts to loved ones. All of these ornaments are so beautiful and unique that you may never want to buy another pre-made ornament again! We also have other knit decor that works for any of the rooms in the house. These home decor crafts include terrific tabletop trees, gorgeous garlands, and accessories for gifts, amongst others. The knit Christmas stockings category will certainly be a reader favorite. These stockings are spectacular and will last for generations. Nothing beats filling a homemade stocking with goodies and waiting for the recipient to dig through their stocking to find all the treats. The last category involves all sorts of wearable crafts, which is why it's the most useful. These scarves, hats, hand warmers, etc, make wonderfully thoughtful gifts or can be made to keep yourself warm during the coldest of winter days and nights.

Does it feel like the holidays if you haven't knitted something? I think my two favorites are scarves and stockings. I think everyone should get a new one each year. I used to get an umbrella from my aunt each year. Sometimes, the most thoughtful gifts are the most practical ones. I love this category.
