What a great way to make a decoration out of the stuff you already have, right? I never thought an applique could be this cute, but you pulled it off with the contrasting colors and the fun cutout. I like using simple designs and letting the colors create the intensity.

This is a very easy to do throw pillow project and the reindeer template is provided! I have made this type of applique using a blanket stitch to attach the reindeer however I find that using a straight running stitch on just the edges of the felt pattern as shown in the instructions makes this applique much neater. Nice project.
